GERMAN WATCHMAKING TOUR
June 13-19, 2020
Visit Glashütte and tour some of the most fascinating brands in German watchmaking with WatchTime as your guide. We will provide access to Haute Horlogerie facilities that only a select few collectors have seen in person. Meet the brands, see their watchmakers in action, enjoy in-depth conversations with brand executives and WatchTime’s expert staff while experiencing what makes traditional Saxon watchmaking so unique.
You will visit up to eight watch brands, tour two museums and experience the world-famous Dresden Opera House. You will see how watchmakers assemble new movements, observe how watches are designed, attend watchmaking workshops, handle timepieces from the newest collections, and learn the history of watchmaking in Glashütte.

Visit Switzerland and tour some of the most fascinating brands in the watchmaking world with WatchTime as your guide. We will provide access to haute horlogerie facilities that only a select few collectors have seen in person. Meet the brands, see their watchmakers in action, and enjoy in-depth conversations with brand representatives and WatchTime’s expert staff, while experiencing Swiss watchmaking on this unique tour.

Terms and Conditions
WatchTime reserves the right to amend, adjust or alter itineraries. Watchtime will make every effort to notify you as early as possible of such changes.
Refunds & cancellations
The decision to run the tour or not will be made by WatchTime’s management on or before MARCH 1, 2020 The remaining balance is due no later than March 29, 2020 or by a date arranged with WatchTime's management. A full refund including your deposit will be issued if WatchTime is forced to cancel the trip. A non-refundable, non-transferable, per person deposit is required to reserve a space for you. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is processed and you receive a confirmation letter. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel within 72 hours of booking the tour but non-refundable thereafter. If you choose to cancel your reservation you will only be issued a full refund, minus a 10% penalty, if WatchTime is able to fill your spot from our wait list, if we are unable to do so you will be responsible for the full cost of the tour. Upon notifying WatchTime of your cancellation in writing, we will make all possible efforts to fill your spot with a new participant. Substitution of travelers is not permitted. If you choose not to travel, if it is too late for a replacement to be found or if you choose to return home before the scheduled completion of your tour, you will not be eligible for any refund or reimbursement from WatchTime for any unused portion of your trip or costs incurred by leaving your trip early. If you are booked in a double room and your roommate cancels his or her tour you will be moved to a single room if possible.
Airline reservations & costs
Please do not make non-refundable airline reservations until you have received confirmation that the tour is proceeding from WatchTime. WatchTime will not be held responsible for any airline or travel-related costs other than the transportation we provide to and from the airport and to all the locations on our tour.
German Tour Airports: Dresden, Leipzig or Berlin Airport
Swiss Tour Airports: Geneva Airport
At the conclusion of our tours all participants will be brought to the airport in our tour bus. We strongly recommend you make flight reservations that leave additional time for unexpected delays and time to clear airport security measures for your flight’s departure. WatchTime will not be responsible for costs incurred if a flight is missed due to unexpected travel delays to the airport or for individual travel costs for flights booked too early for our group's arrival, or flights which don't allow sufficient time to clear airport security and reach your gate in time for boarding.
Passports & Flight Documents:
You are responsible for obtaining any travel documents and verifying entry requirements necessary for travel on our tour itinerary, including any required vaccinations, as WatchTime is not responsible for providing this information or documentation. U.S. citizens are required to have a passport for all trips outside of the United States, which must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion date of the tour. Entry laws differ with respect to travelers’ citizenship. You are responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of delays or itinerary changes related to your lack of appropriate travel documents and are therefore ineligible for any refund from WatchTime. In order for WatchTime to schedule transportation to the hotel upon your arrival, you will be asked to provide WatchTime with your flight information as soon as your reservations have been made. Please note individual transportation will be arranged only for greeting your inbound flights, we will be traveling to the airport as a group for your departing flights in the tour bus or buses.
Flight delays & cancellations
WatchTime cannot be held responsible for any flight delays or cancellations caused by reasons including but not limited to weather, mechanical issues or personnel strike. In the event of a flight delay, you must work directly with the airline to be re-booked. Once your new flight is confirmed, you must then notify WatchTime with your new arrival time. If you are arriving later than your original scheduled flight, you may not be met by a WatchTime representative at the airport. In this case, you will need to arrange your own transportation from the airport to your hotel.
If it is necessary for WatchTime to change or cancel the tour program in any way, you will be responsible for altering your flight plans accordingly and for any costs that result from such changes or cancellations.
WatchTime makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of its publications, but it cannot be held responsible for typographical or printing errors, including but not limited to prices. WatchTime tours are not for resale, and travelers must enroll directly with WatchTime. Tour registration is strictly non-transferable.
