Oris celebrates the life of baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente and the humanitarian work of the Roberto Clemente Foundation with a limited edition watch

And often, it means following their heart and doing something that will bring meaningful change in the world. It means doing the right thing.
A few years ago, Oris brought the projects they were working on to bring that change under the banner of ‘Change for the Better’. They've partnered with non-profit organizations all over the world, many of them at the forefront of conservation, finding ways to clean, restore and protect our environment.
Now, Oris is very proud to announce a new partnership with the Roberto Clemente Foundation, a humanitarian organization named in honor of baseball’s Roberto Clemente and run by his family.
The Oris Roberto Clemente Limited Edition is delivered in a special presentation box and with the additional NATO fabric strap. Limited to 3,000 pieces to represent his career hits and with the date at 21 in gold, the Roberto Clemente Limited Edition is a glorious tribute to an extraordinary man.
Roberto Clemente is a baseball legend, and a 20th century hero. During his long career, he became the first Latin American player to reach 3,000 hits, and a passionate humanitarian. Sadly, he died in 1972, aged just 38, when a plane he had chartered to take aid to Nicaragua crashed. Oris is proud to support the Roberto Clemente Foundation with this beautiful limited-edition watch, and to continue the great man’s legacy.
